Description
Embark on an around-the-world cultural adventure - explore far-off places and learn about the people who live there, from the Americas to Polynesia, from the cosmopolitan to the countryside. Experiment with Crayola® products, while trying art techniques such as calligraphy, sculpting, and patterning developed by local artists and artisans. Make different masterpieces each week such as drums, masks, canvases, prints, buses, and more! Bring the unique creations home and build a globally-inspired art gallery.
Weekly themes: Aboriginal Dot Art, Truck Art, Tiki Masks, Block Printing, Rattle Drums, Animal Sculptures, Mud Art, Fish Printing!
**One cancellation due to weather or the school cancelling will not be made up. We will try to make up a second cancellation due to the weather or the school.
They experiment with different art techniques, and use Crayola® art materials to express their ideas.
They design a different unique, artist-inspired creation each class. We encourage them to create the change that they want to see in the world!
